Permissions are co-designed with you and ring-fenced by role. Board papers, salary information, and anything confidential is scoped to who should see it - and can be held in separate environments. The classic test: a junior asking 'what does the exec get paid?' should never surface an email it shouldn't.

Messy documents are the normal case, and the build is designed for them. Before anything is written, we catalogue which of your sources are authoritative for which topics, so the brain is built from your best material rather than your loudest. Where sources disagree, the conflict is surfaced for a human to resolve, never silently averaged. And where the evidence is thin, the brain records a marked gap instead of inventing something plausible.

Three ways. Every answer is traced back to the pages it came from, so you can always check the source. Where the brain doesn't have the answer, it says so rather than guessing. And anyone can flag an answer as wrong: the offending page is immediately down-ranked and queued for human review, so a bad fact loses influence the moment it's caught, not at the next rebuild.

No - that's the point. The brain is plain text files hosted on your own server, connected via MCP. It can be pointed at Claude, GPT, Gemini, or a local model. You own the knowledge layer forever, independent of whichever model is best this month.
